Temperatures are dropping tonight and with the recent lower temperatures you may want to protect some of your more tender plants from the cold temperatures. Here are some suggested materials for you to use and consider to give your plants a little protection during the next few nights.
Frost Cloth
Frost cloth used to protect existing vines on perimeter wall.
Burlap
Burlap makes a good frost cloth for tender plants and shrubs, especially on the north side of the house.
Shade Cloth
His is a smart homeowner using shade cloth to protect Fig Ivy during these cold nights.

Not all of your landscape plants need to be protected, but here is a list of the primary ones that most people and landscape professionals would protect:
- Camellias
- Fig Ivy
- Palms
- Gardenia
