Plant Description
Small scale, deciduous, ornamental tree with deep purple and burgundy leaves and attractive light pink blooms in spring. It has a rounded canopy and is relatively fast growing, but not typically planted or recommended in new gardens as it has a tendency to lean to the side after time. Similar trees for this scale and color would be Japanese Maple or 'Forest Pansy' Redbud tree.
